I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
