Former Red Bull chief Horner Reportedly Getting in Touch with Various F1 Team Owners
Previous Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is apparently "getting in touch with most team bosses" as he attempts a comeback to Formula 1, per the Aston Martin team CEO Andy Cowell.
The Silverstone-based squad is included in the squads that are associated with the ex-boss.
The Aston Martin CEO mentioned he had verified the situation with team principal Lawrence Stroll on Friday at the Marina Bay race.
"It looks as though Christian is contacting nearly every team principal at the moment," said Cowell.
"I can clearly say there are no intentions for the involvement of Christian in an operational or investment role in the future."
Further Organizations Respond
The US-based squad chief Ayao Komatsu disclosed that the ex-chief had "reached out to" the US-based team but continued: "Things haven't advanced. It is finished."
The French manufacturer top official Steve Nielsen revealed the organization's advisor and acting leader Flavio Briatore was "longtime companions" with the former principal.
The Alpine director continued: "I don't know what they converse about. Everything I know is there are no plans for Christian to arrive at Alpine but that doesn't mean it won't happen."
The historic British team team principal James Vowles stated that the ex-chief had not approached them.
"We're very happy with the structure we have and it's functioning," the team principal said. "There's no cause to modify it."

The ex-Red Bull chief is able to come back F1 by the middle of next year after completing a departure deal with the energy drink company on the 22nd of September.
The veteran motorsport figure was let go as Red Bull's chief after the Silverstone race in summer.
Various insiders at the racing team have indicated the settlement package was valued at 60 million euros (52 million pounds).
