Close to a Fifth of Younger UK Adults Using AI for Vacation Design, Study Reveals
According to a recent survey, almost 20% of people aged 25-34 in the UK are turning to artificial intelligence to design their vacations.
Generational Divide in AI Adoption
While standard pre-arranged vacations are still the top option, findings shows that about one-fifth of millennials utilize smart assistants like ChatGPT for trip ideas.
Conversely, under 3% of those over 55 mention AI as a source for travel inspiration.
In general, a quarter of British people continue to prefer physical catalogs when organizing their trips.

The travel association expect the role of artificial intelligence to increase sharply in the upcoming period.
Close to two in five of participants stated they would be comfortable to allow an AI assistant to book their trips completely.

Findings presented at a latest travel industry convention indicated that the percentage of Britons going on a vacation last year has practically matched before the pandemic rates.

Calls for Regulation in Travel Industry
The challenges with overtourism in Spain and other places were blamed on "illegal rentals" instead of major companies.
There were demands for governments to take action against cases where Airbnb owners operate without a required authorization, health and safety certificate, or tax payments.
Should hosts are found to lack the proper documentation and tax records, they face penalties. Non-compliance leads to legal consequences. The entire unauthorized accommodations will disappear overnight.
